What is a Consecutive Barcode Label?

A consecutive barcode label, or sequential barcode label, is the process of printing labels of ascending or descending identification numbers, so that each printed unit receives its own unique number.
There are two barcode types used in creating consecutive barcode labels: Code 128 (Recommended) and Code 39.
